Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"We had a wonderful dinner in Venice with friends, and this restaurant made the evening truly special. We started with three delicious antipasti : the burrata with semi-dried tomatoes, the eggplant parmigiana, and a mixed plate of Venetian seafood. For the main, we had the lobster tagliatelle, which was simply outstanding and perfectly cooked pasta with rich and delicate flavours. A big thank you to our waiter, Matilde, who made the experience unforgettable. She was welcoming, attentive, and spot on with her local wine suggestions. Her insights about Venetian cuisine and culture added so much value to the evening, and she made the whole dinner both fun and memorable."
"Very good for the price, which is quite affordable. Service excellent from Alba and Florin -- English speaking, friendly, but not overly familiar. Quite stylish modern decor, but with some traditional feeling. Bigoli with duck very good. Steak with peppercorns good for the cheap price. Desserts yummy. Drinks cheaper than we've experienced in other places. Background music inoffensive and volume just about perfect. €3 cover charge per person."
"This place is AMAZING! We were served by Matilde, who is an absolute CREDIT to this restaurant. The food was incredible (we had Grandma’s Lasagna & the spaghetti with burrata cream). Matilde was very attentive, polite, sweet, and the best experience of hospitality I have witnessed in many years. She is the best server in Venezia! The atmosphere is so beautiful, and Matilde made us feel very relaxed and taken care of. I would give this place 1000/10 if I could!"
"Wonderful place and off the beaten path. We dropped by for lunch and got the Amatriciana and spaghetti with chili oil (can’t remember the name). They were both delicious and the service was outstanding."
"Great dinner, fantastic food. Front of house was very busy that evening, but Matilde came through with our orders and got us a good prosecco on top of it as well! Prices are solid, with rebates it's a steal. Definitive recommendation if you're looking for a nice dinner in Venice!"
"The girl that runs the place is super friendly! She was very welcoming despite the hour we arrived, she took the time to explain to us the menu and to chat a little bit about how to get around without getting ripped off. The food was really nice, dessert was really good, I 100% recommend this place!"
"This was the best food we had during our stay in Venice. We spent our evening exploring and wandering around the city until we found a place that looked good and were so glad we found this one! The staff were very attentive, Matilda was great and took care of us as well as the other staff, a man I can’t recall the name of. The prices are good for the quality of the food, this place is truly a gem"
"We loved the atmosphere in this place. Great cicchetti, music and wine. Nice wee corner in Dorsoduro and fully authentic."
